YOUTH LEAGUE
Our Maui Fil-Am Basketball Youth Leagues (14U, 12U, 10U, and 8U) are designed to challenge and develop players by competing with and against fellow Maui Fil-Am athletes in a high-energy, competitive environment. We welcome all Fil-Am players on Maui to showcase their skills, grow their game, and compete at a higher level through our league.
Due to the competitive structure of league play, participants must have a minimum of two years of playing experienceand be at an intermediate to advanced skill level.
8U athletes are required to have at least one year of playing experience.
HIGH SCHOOL LEAGUE
Our Maui Fil-Am High School Basketball League is designed to provide student-athletes with a competitive platform to play with and against fellow Maui Fil-Am high school players. This league offers a high-level environment where athletes can sharpen their skills, gain meaningful game experience, and continue their development during the school year.
We welcome all eligible Maui Fil-Am high school athletes who are committed to competing, improving, and representing our community. Due to the competitive nature of league play, participants should have prior organized basketball experience and be prepared to compete at an intermediate to advanced level.
At Maui Fil-Am Basketball, we are dedicated to providing our players with the tools, opportunities, and guidance to develop their skills, gain valuable game experience, and showcase their talent at the Fil-Am Nation Select Hawai‘i Combine. Our leagues and skills clinics are designed for players who are hungry to compete at a higher level and take their game to the next stage.
We regularly announce upcoming Skills Clinics to give players focused opportunities to improve. Our Maui Fil-Am Basketball Youth Leagues challenge athletes by matching them with and against other skilled Maui Fil-Am players. We welcome all Fil-Am players on Maui to join and showcase their talent! Please note, due to the competitive structure of our league, players should have at least 2 years of playing experience and be at an intermediate to advanced level, while 8U players require 1 year of experience.
Each year, the Fil-Am Nation Select Hawai‘i Basketball Regional ID and Exposure Combine gives players a platform to demonstrate their skills and gain recognition. This Combine identifies top Filipino American talent, offering opportunities to compete in prestigious events worldwide. For example, over 20 Maui Fil-Am players participated in the Global Summit in Toronto, Canada in August 2025, and 4 players competed in the NBTC Manila Live tournament in the Philippines earlier this year. For players aiming to reach the highest levels, this is an unmatched opportunity.
